was such a great session. The panelists made us laugh, cry and gave
us “goose-bumps”. It was such an inspirational evening. Special

Practice Rooms at the Sheraton

From July 1st
we have arranged for a practice room for the guests. There will be 8
dance floors 12 *12 located in the Dominion Ballroom. A sign up sheet
will be posted each morning for ˝ hour slots.

Banquet Information

The ScotDance Canada
Championship Series Banquet will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the
Sheraton Ctr Hotel. It is on the lower level of the Hotel.

Dinner at 7
There will be a DJ
after dinner.
The tables are
rounds of 10. We are asking that you reserve tables in advance of the
event. Please advise us of the names of the people in your group.
Those that have less than 10 will be arranged with others. The
committee will be drawing for table locations on Friday June 27th.
We ask that one person per group provide the names of people in their
party. The seating plan will be posted at the registration desk on
July 1st. The provincial team reps have been allocated
their tables.

Shuttle Bus Schedule

Please click here for the shuttle bus schedule. The bus will run
between the Sheraton and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on all 5
days of the event (July 1 - 5).
Choreography Registration

Please note that
registration will open at 8:30 on July 1st at the MTCC. In
order to pick up your number including
choreography, we will
require your individual registration cards. Please make sure they are
available. The choreography competition starts at 10 AM in Exhibit
Hall A.
Competitor Numbers

Competitor numbers will NOT be mailed out. All Competitor Numbers
will be available for pick-up at Registration on Wednesday, July 1st
in the Lobby of the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention
Centre, 255 Front Street West, Toronto between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or
throughout the event if not done on Registration Day. Dancers will be
required to show their current Worldwide Registration Card at this
time.
Food Service at Metro Toronto Convention

Choreography Competition Announcement

Choreography Groups are reminded that if they are using recorded music
it must be available on a CD cued to start with playing instructions
clearly written on the CD specifying when the music should be started
(i.e. dancers on stage prior to start of music; dancers dance on using
music).
Please
remember that Small Group Choreographies should not exceed 3 minutes
including entrances and exits and Large Group Choreographies should
not exceed 4 minutes. There will be a short grace period
(approximately 30 seconds) to make allowance for any discrepancies in
audio equipment.
In the
Small and Large Group Choreography Events on July 1st, 50%
of the number of groups performing in the Preliminaries (rounding up
where necessary) will be selected to compete in the Choreography
Finals immediately following the Opening Ceremonies that evening.
The
winning choreography group in each age group will receive a keeper
award; the top 3 choreography groups in each age group will receive
cash prizes;and all choreography groups performing in the Finals will
receive medals.
Pre-Ordered Tickets and Programs

All
pre-ordered Event Tickets and Souvenir Programs will be available for
pick-up at Registration on Wednesday, July 1st in the Lobby
of the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, 255
Front Street West, Toronto between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or throughout
the event if not done on Registration Day.
Please bring a copy of your Order Confirmation Receipt with you, if
possible.
